Cleveland has so many nooks that are just amazing choices for senior pictures. We always ask our clients what look they are going for or if they have somewhere that is special to them that they would like to hit. I just adore they locations we shot with Gretchen from Rocky River High School. The door at Saint James in Lakewood is one of the most beautiful doors I have ever seen in my life and we are so lucky to have it local to us. In fact, it’s just a couple minutes from the Willow Room Salon where gorgeous Gretchen had her hair and makeup done. The Rapid station in the flats is great too. If you catch a train coming by, which happens quite often, it makes for great shots (or video). and the light in there is beautiful in the early evening. The jackknife bridge behind shooters is a Cleveland landmark (Bascule1) and was one of the many bridges that was beautifully and colorfully lit in the 90’s. If you can make it down by the Edgewater boat launches and Whiskey Island by sunset you will see the most unreal views. The key is timing and knowing when the light is right at each place. Our city is so beautiful, if you take the time to stop and look around for a second. It also helps if you have a professional photographer and a radiant (see below) subject with you ;).
