We have had the honor of traveling all over this year to teach, film and work with some of the brightest minds in our industry. Being able to film at Bonanza Creek Ranch was one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced. Just group us in there with The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, Godless, Silverado, 3:10 to Yuma, The Missing, Young Guns, Cowboys and Aliens, All the Pretty Horses, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and about a gazillion other films and TV shows and we’ll call it a day. I can not even begin to explain how amazing this place is. As each film comes on, they build up their own part of the set and leave it there. It was such and honor to be part of the senior summit and to film here. The insides of each building looks like you’ve stepped back in time. This amazing place is just sitting in the middle of nowhere in New Mexico. It is so beautiful when you really take the time to look (film or photograph) around. We had such a blast. Of course, we were hot, dehydrated and thirsty pretty much the entire time. You know… us gals from O-HI- O. But my hair looked ahhhmazing! I could really get used to that lack of humidity. 😉 Thank you to all who made this possible. Our next education event is with Senior Style Guide Magazine in November in Indiana on Film.
